We amended ネット カジノ 違法 Calbee Group Procurement Policy in 2022 with ネット カジノ 違法 aim of achieving responsible procurement that respects human rights and ネット カジノ 違法 environment. ネット カジノ 違法 Calbee Group procures a variety of ingredients from both domestic and overseas suppliers. We conduct assessments of suppliers to address social issues in ネット カジノ 違法 supply chain, such as environmental and human rights issues, and we are committed to enhancing our engagement with suppliers to deal with risks and opportunities. As part of our efforts to achieve this, we are contributing to solving social issues related to ネット カジノ 違法 environment and human rights through ネット カジノ 違法 procurement of RSPO-certified palm oil.

In April 2022, ネット カジノ 違法 Calbee Group amended ネット カジノ 違法 Calbee Group Procurement Policy. ネット カジノ 違法se amendments were based on ネット カジノ 違法 Calbee Group Code of Conduct, which was amended in 2021, in an effort to respond to major changes in ネット カジノ 違法 social environment surrounding our business. We will continue our work to resolve issues in our supply chains related to ネット カジノ 違法 environment and human rights, and work with our suppliers to realize a sustainable society. In 2022, ネット カジノ 違法 Group established its Calbee Group Palm Oil Procurement Policy to sustainably procure palm oil.
Under ネット カジノ 違法 policy, ネット カジノ 違法 Calbee Group supports No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation (NDPE) commitments.
Togeネット カジノ 違法r with our suppliers, we are committed to sourcing certified palm oil that deals with environment and human rights issues. Since ネット カジノ 違法 fiscal year ended March 2017, we have disclosed our “Statement Relating to UK Modern Slavery Act” on our website in support of ネット カジノ 違法 UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. In this statement, we set forth our efforts and policies about ネット カジノ 違法 prevention of forced or compulsory labor and human trafficking in ネット カジノ 違法 supply chain.
CSR procurement self-assessment
ネット カジノ 違法 Calbee Group assessed 53 major suppliers in FY2022, using a CSR procurement self-assessment questionnaire, which lists ネット カジノ 違法 best practices that were identified in “A Vision of Desirable CSR Activity in ネット カジノ 違法 Supply Chain*” of ネット カジノ 違法 Global Compact Network Japan (GCNJ), as well as Calbee’s assessment format.
We shared CSR and environmental information in ネット カジノ 違法 assessments. We also work with our business partners to address human rights, which is a priority issue.
In ネット カジノ 違法 medium to long term, we are making efforts to address environmental challenges, including global warming caused by climate change including ネット カジノ 違法 conservation of nature capital.

Responsible palm oil procurement
Palm oil is ネット カジノ 違法 generic term for oil extracted from ネット カジノ 違法 fruit of oil palm trees. It is ネット カジノ 違法 most common ingredient for fats and oils in ネット カジノ 違法 world because of its high yield per area and high production efficiency. About 80% of palm oil is produced in Indonesia and Malaysia. In recent years, environmental destruction resulting from palm plantation development and human rights issues, such as forced labor and child labor, have been identified as serious social problems.
ネット カジノ 違法 Calbee Group uses palm oil as a cooking oil in ネット カジノ 違法 frying process at domestic factories and procures approximately 40,000 tons annually. We care about ネット カジノ 違法 environment and human rights. We ネット カジノ 違法refore aim to use only 100% certified palm oil by 2030. In July 2021, we gradually started to use palm oil certified under ネット カジノ 違法 Mass Balance system*1at domestic factories, and in April 2022, we replaced ネット カジノ 違法 certified palm oil used at all domestic factories.
In September 2022, we started to display ネット カジノ 違法 RSPO*2Label on ネット カジノ 違法 packaging of six products, and we have since expanded this scheme to cover oネット カジノ 違法r products. (ネット カジノ 違法 RSPO Label is displayed on 30 Calbee and Japan Frito-Lay products as of March 2024.)
Collaboration with suppliers is essential for sustainable procurement. In 2022, we enhanced our engagement with Fuji Oil Holdings Inc., a palm oil supplier, to obtain an oil mill list for traceability, and take ネット カジノ 違法 landscape approach*3in places of origin, monitor forest conditions, and share oネット カジノ 違法r information on a regular basis.
Since 2023, we have worked with all oネット カジノ 違法r palm oil suppliers to expand our efforts.
In addition, as part of environmental communication, we have uploaded videos showing environmental ネット カジノ 違法 human rights initiatives for RSPO ネット カジノ 違法 Calbee’s efforts on its sustainability website.
